This lovely reproduction teapot of dark turquoise porcelain circa 1888 is found in the Biltmore house and once enjoyed by the Vanderbilt family. The china is a revival of rococo style denoted by its swooping, curving design and sumptuous use of gilding and rich color. This porcelain teapot holds 40 oz and is part of a series of pieces carrying the same design motif.6 1/2" H x 3 3/4" opening. Not recommended for dishwasher or microwave use.
