Teresa Pennington, local colored-pencil artist captures this beautiful moment at Biltmore in springtime. Teresa uses colored pencil only, with no water or solvents. Most of the originals were drawn on a larger scale and often take months to complete. The initial sketches are done in graphite and are drawn to scale in detail before the colored pencil is applied. The reproductions are giclees that she prints herself and are guaranteed for 150 years. Teresa has been drawing for 30 years and Biltmore is her favorite topic.
