George W. Vanderbilt was an avid collector, traveling all over the world in search of fine art for Biltmore®. He purchased several Impressionist paintings from French art dealer Paul Durand-Ruel. Among Vanderbilt?s purchases was Young Algerian Girl, painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir during his travels to Algeria in 1881-82. The oil on canvas painting still hangs in Biltmore House. Our reproduction of Young Algerian Girl is a beautifully detailed canvas print in a gilded frame, complete with hanging hardware. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
