The Los Carneros region of California spans both Napa and Sonoma County and boasts a hot thermal belt that allows our vineyard partners to cultivate premium grapes that ripen earlier than fruit in cooler areas. This garnet-colored wine, aged 14-16 months in oak, features a rich nose of black raspberry, strawberry, and baking spices. With a lingering tannin structure and flavors of black currant and vanilla, this Pinot Noir may surprise you with a more medium to full body than is normally characteristic of the varietal. Savor its complexities with beef bourguignon, smoked salmon, Black Forest ham, mushroom risotto, and aged cheddar.
