Railroads have a special place in Biltmore’s story. During construction of Biltmore House, a temporary line carried workers and materials from the depot in Biltmore Village to the building site. This musical snow globe draws on that history, with a train tucked beneath a snow-covered village. As “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” plays, the scene invites you to imagine a festive journey through the Blue Ridge Mountains, with every rooftop dressed in snow.
