Before Biltmore’s first Christmas in 1895, workers gathered evergreens for the house and carried in the dry firewood George Vanderbilt had requested. Maison de Noël recalls those preparations through fresh evergreen, soft vanilla, and the suggestion of a crackling fire. Set the blue glass decanter in an entryway or gathering room, insert the natural reeds, and let the fragrance greet visitors as the season unfolds. It’s a lovely way to make arriving home feel like part of the celebration.
