A cold December evening is a perfect time to settle in with a good book, just like George Vanderbilt did in the Oak Sitting Room. This candle’s gleaming vessel recalls the gold woven through the room’s damask furnishings, where beautiful fabrics dressed furniture chosen with comfort in mind. Place it on a side table to lend a warm accent to your Christmas decorations. Then light it while you read or spend time with someone dear, enjoying the pleasure of a room you’ve made ready for the season.
